Is Justice Justified?

There has been a lot of talk lately on how fair is our judicial system? Or the unwritten principles of "authority" which allows any individual with so called "authority" to do absolutely anything with anyone?

20 years. For 20 years this man has been able to tap loop holes in the IPC and flee severity that he deserves more than anyone we might know.

Yes, this week we are talking about SPS Rathore. The tainted DGP of Haryana Police who has so many credentials to his name that anyone in his right state of mind and without any further implications might as well decide to butcher him till he had begged to every Indian. The Ruchika Girhotra molestation case which dates back to 1990 has been a story which is more movie-like make believe than in fact, any movie in the 90s.

Right through the last two decades the Girhotra family have been abused, harassed and made the victim of this "authority". For all who still have no clear idea about the entire episode, Wikipedia has an appropriate page. The link is as follows :

The unfortunate incident to which the only witness alive today is Aradhna Prakash, Ruchika's classmate from Sacred Heart School for Girls in Chandigarh, has done everything possible to bring justice to Ruchika. Yet, our judiciary grants the nation's shame a bail.

This week, we are asking you, the youth of the nation to say what you think. Have we lost the philanthropists in us? Have we forgotten what we stand for? Has the so called "value based society" phrase that we happily accept to be the cornerstone of Indian civilization, come down so low that a 15 year old who was tortured till she ultimately killed herself at the age of 18 is still denied due justice, 17 years hence?

Its time you voiced your opinion. Is Justice justified?
